"Yes, thank you." He hummed then nodded as one does when trying to end a telephone conversation. "I will. Yes." Iruma laughed politely. "Of course. Uh-huh. Okay, now. Bye-bye." He blinked at the other three, all watching him pointedly and smiled, still trying to be the host.

"Yes," he cleared his throat, then found his way to Lisstina.

*Rowan gave Jak a small smile back, then folded his towel. He stood there, waiting patiently for the man to come back. Eyes glancing around the room at all the little 'stuff'; lamps, nick-knacks, the television... 'Weird...' He reached out, touching the t.v. lightly with his fingers.*

"Alright, now what?" Jak looked around a couple moments after the man left. 'Odd stuff,' he thought. 'Still smells odd too.'

Then he noticed that Rowan was slowly creeping up to the t.v. and got a wicked smile on his face. He closed the distance as quickly and quietly as possible so that he was directly behind Rowan. He suddenly growled loudly and poked Rowan's sides at the same time.

Calli couldn't understand what the man was saying so she didn't bother with it. She instead took the time to look around. These people seemed settled here. Pictures on tables, very nice things. She didn't understand a lot of the things but it was clear that everything was in good order.

Lissy wasn't liking leaving Iruma downstairs by himself. She though wanted to check on her son. For maybe the millionth time. She walked into the room where he was sleeping and leaned against the door. She also let her hand slide to the panel that hid her weapons. Should she need it.

"Lisstina?" he said softly, near Aiden's door. If she was anywhere, it'd be here. Once she opened the door, he gave her a warm smile. "Your mother was helpful. She thinks we should try to detect any magic in the living room. She gave me a spell."

He paused, thinking. "I can give it a try."

*Startled, Rowan quickly spun around, hand grasping whatever it was roughly. His tail puffed out a bit and had he been able to he'd have growled right back. Teeth bared as he held Jak by the collar. His eyes widened, realizing it was just Jak. Retracting the teeth and claws as he let the boy go, Rowan stepped back apologetically.*

Jak's eyes went wide as he was ripped up from the ground. He blinked as he was suddenly eye to eye with Rowan. 'Sheesh he's tall,' he managed to think before he was dropped back to the ground. He blinked a couple more times at Rowan then burst out laughing.

"You should have seen your face! Hahaha!" Jak was practically rolling on the floor while laughing.

Calli watched the whole thing with Jak and shook her head. She almost wished Rowan would have hit him. That would have made it better.

Lissy went over her options and thought about it. "Well.. if you want to. If it doesn't work for you there is either Felix or Ashley down the block." She didn't mean the little Ashley. She knew Iruma would know that. She meant the one from the future.

Iruma's eyes lit up, of course she'd think of Ashley. "If you think she's a good idea, then give her a call." It didn't have to be said that Felix would not be a going back downstairs. "I'll go back downstairs, maybe get them in the kitchen to give Ashley room to work."

*Raising a brow curiously at Jak, an awkward smile slowly crept up his face. Relieved that he wasn't angry or scared or something by Rowan's girr-ness. Gesturing at his own face, then shaking his head as he thought, 'I can't see my face.'*

*still laughing as he watched Rowan's reply* First you were all GRRRRR!!! Then you were AHHH!! *his face mimicked what Rowan's had been to the best of his ability. He sat on the floor, still laughing lightly.* Man, now I'm REALLY hungry... *he rubbed his stomach then pulled open his bag, looking through it. He pulled out some carrots, a potato, a pear, and an apple.* Mmmm. *he grinned at the apple, rubbed it with his hand, then took a big bite, eyes rolling with delight.*

Calli watched Jak and shook her head. She wished she was somewhere more productive then rolling boy on the floor. She walked towards the mantle taking better looks at the pictures.

Lissy nodded her head to him. "Sounds like a good plan." She said to him. She wanted to lean over for a hug. But she didn't instead she looked down at the sleeping child and pulled out her phone before walking out into the hall.

Iruma caught Lisstina by the waist, pulled her back to him and held her close, if briefly. His chest was to her back, head bowed, mouth near her ear. "These three don't seem like much, but let's keep what's ours, ours." He pressed a light kiss to her ear then let her make her call.

Iruma headed back down. "Did I hear someone say they were hungry?" Then he spotted the shortest of the group with an apple. "Perhaps I heard wrong," he said with a smile.

*A silent chuckle shown on his face as Rowan watched Jak's impression of himself. Watching the boy pull stuff out of his bag, Rowan thought back, 'When was the last time I ate?' It had been a long day.
All train of thought stopped however when Jak pulled the pear out. Rowan's eyes locked on it as he lightly bit the inside of his lower lip. 'Want!' Hearing the man come back toward them, Rowan reluctantly turned his head to look at him.*

*Jak looked up at the man and swallowed the bite of apple. A bit sheepishly, he spoke up,* That was me. I'm taking care of it though. Hope you don't mind. *he glanced at Rowan before putting the fruit away. With a teasing grin he looked the man over.* Do you want it?

She looked from the mantel to the man as he walked down the stairs. She wouldn't mind food but she was unsure if she should eat in this strange place. "I could eat."

Lissy smiled when she got pulled back and laced her fingers with his. She nodded her head to his words when he whispered into her ear. She turned her head towards his cheek and kissed it before he walked away. Then she proceed to dial the phone.

"Kitchen is this way," he said, leading the others. It was spotless, or mostly so save for a neglected mug sitting on the table. "Bad habit of mine," Iruma said in way of apology. He took the cup to the sink and rinsed it out. Of course it was blood, couldn't it be coffee instead? Thinking of that, he couldn't exactly give them free reign of the kitchen, not with packets of blood sitting in the fridge. This plan may have backfired.

*Eyes back to Jak. Rowan's tail wiggled a little, his eyes pleading for the fruit. He nodded, putting both hands flat together just in front of his lips. Trying his best to show, 'please!'*

*Jak put away the fruit, save the pear, and stood up. Getting close to Rowan, he held out the pear. He let his fingers brush Rowan's as he put it in his hand.* Here you go. *He smiled at Rowan*

Calli watched the boy flirt with Rowan and fought the urge to pretend to vomit. She walked behind the Iruma man into the kitchen and looked around. "You keep this place very clean." she said as she watched him.

Lissy walked down from the upstairs after getting off the phone. She checked on the baby before going back down the stairs. She didn't like leaving him alone. But Charlene and Felix where next door.
