Make sure to close the door behind you

Felix didn't move, just staring at the strangers. He pulled Charlene closer, tightening his grip on her hand.
"Should we go somewhere else?" He was asking Lissy, but didn't want to take his eyes off the others.

Charlene stared at the girl. She couldn't pinpoint if the girl had been thinking to her or not but her hand tightened in Felix's. The device look familiar and not in the good way.

Lissy looked at the girl confused. That thing was a map. She was going to get a closer look before looking up at Felix when he asked a question. She could see how having them here could make the situation worse. She did feel the tension increase. But she did like the thought of backup. She was still way too paranoid at how thy just popped in. "If you would like, it does seem to be crowded in here."

There were far too many people in his living room, too many possibilities that he couldn't control. "Lisstina, would you take Charlene and Felix back upstairs and fetch me a laptop? I'm sure there's one in the kids' rooms..." There, that takes care of the three people he cares about, even if that means he'll be alone with the... dog people and their plain friend.

Still looking at the new two, 'The names don't ring any bells, but I know I've seen them before.' His attention was pulled back by, who seemed to be, the man in charge. 'Kids? There's children here?'

Jak looked up at the new couple. The woman smelt a bit strange, though he couldn't quite pinpoint how. He waved at the couple. "Hello," he greeted them cheerfully and with a smile.

He caught that there were kids in the house, but shrugged it off. It was a house after all.

'Should look at that map,' he thought to himself.

Calli looked over at the people that came in. Where had she seen them before. Her attention was taken away by the man. Kids? Really? Oh well. She looked over at the lady to see what she would do.

Felix attempted a smile back to the smaller one, though his apprehension made for only a half smile. Bringing his other hand up a bit to wave back.
His attention turned to Iruma as he spoke, nodding to his decision to leave with Lisstina. Keeping a tight hold of Charlene's hand.

Charlene kept a tight hold on Felixs hand. She was very unsure of the strangers in the livingroom. But when Iruma said to go upstairs she wanted to jst shadow step up to her room. But that wasn't an option even if they where dog people.

Listina didn't like the idea of leaving Iruma alone with the people that happened into thie homebut liked the excuse to go check on the baby. "Alright, yell if you need me." She walked across the room and nodded to the other two to go first.

He nodded to Lisstina, then, remembering the towels, handed them over to the two young men. The tension between Charlene, Felix and the strangers was so tense Iruma almost jumped when the phone rang. Almost, but he easily covered his emotions and answered the phone. "Mieko," he said, not bothering to hide the relief. He was quite happy to hear from her. "No, no trouble at all." He moved into the kitchen, still able to watch everyone in the living room.

Rowan took a towel from the man, nodding his head in thanks. Bringing the towel to his head to dry off. As he did this he focused on the man now on the phone, listening.

*Jak said thank you softly as he was handed the towel. He took note that three of the four had been shuffled out of the room by the fourth.* Interesting... *He plopped the towel on his head before a thought occurred to him and he turned to Cali while keeping an ear out for the man on the phone* Hey, can I use that dryer?

Calli looked at the fox boy and nodded her head. She reached into the bag and pulled it out handing it to him. "You do know how to use it right?"

Taking Charlene with, Felix made his way back up the stairs. He looked to Lisstina a bit curious.* "Who are they?"

Charlene kept her hand in Felix's letting him guide her. She was trying to sort through all the extra noise in her head. She really didn't like these people. Well that girl and she didn't know why.

Lissy was having a hard time not running back and seeing what her mother was saying. Instead she walked up stairs with the shrugging her shoulders at Felix. "I have no idea. They just appeared in here and disappeared. Then they knocked on the door."

He lightly chuckled at an anecdote Meiko shared with him. Never far from the living room, Iruma tried to stage his questions with as little worry in his voice as he could. This situation, as bizarre as it was, could get even more out of hand if he couldn't pretend to know how to handle it. "Ah, yes. Something interesting has happened. What do you make of this? Lisstina and I were-," he paused as she said something and he hummed. "Yes, we were. Then there were three strangers filling my living room with no rhyme or reason for them to be here."

Teasing his hair, until it stopped dripping, Rowan then turned to his tail. Keeping an ear out for the man's side of the phone conversation.

Jak nodded to Calli and took the dryer. He flipped it on and ran it over himself, starting at his ears and ending with his tail. He looked at Rowan, still damp but not dripping. He shrugged and pointed it at Rowan.

"Hold still." He proceeded to try and dry Rowan.

Calli kept an eye on the people as they left the room. It was bugging her. They looked really familiar from somewhere. She then looked to Jak and Rowan. They seemed to have everything under control. Since the man was on the phone she just waited while going over all the information in her head. Where had she seen them before.

"Ah, sorry ma'am. I er, mean..." Iruma fumbled for words for the first time in his life. He apologized in Japanese. Of course, Meiko was right. There were strange people in his house and he was about to discuss sensitive details in front of them. The least he could do was try to hide it. Continuing in the foreign language, Iruma detailed the nights events and included that they were safe, more or less.

*Rowan raised a brow to Jak, but let the boy dry him with the thing. His eyes glanced curiously to the man on the phone when his language changed. 'Odd..' Unable to follow the bit of the conversation he could hear anymore, Rowan looked back to Jak.*

Jak's left ear focused on the man in the kitchen when the language changed. 'Curious,' he thought. He looked up at Rowan, his eyebrows raised as he shrugged his shoulders. He looked over Rowan then pointed the dryer at his hair. He quickly dried Rowan's hair then smiled sweetly at him.

"There, that's better." He handed the dryer back to Cali. "Thanks."

Calli also noticed the language change. She wanted to pull out her translator. but didn't think the man would like her putting something in her ear after he just changed languages. So instead she smiled to Jak as he passed the dryer back. "Thanks."
